Mandatory Shuttle Service to be tested in Zion for remainder of 2018

Zion National Park Shuttle Bus Schedule

Starting Saturday, December 22nd, and running through December 31st, Zion National Park will be testing their mandatory shuttle service in the park. This shuttle service will also provide services in Springdale to help visitors with connections in the park and town.

These shuttle services are expected to help reduce regular vehicle traffic and congestion regularly experienced in Zion Canyon during its peak seasons. Throughout this testing of the shuttle services, the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive in the park will only be accessible with the shuttle system.

Beginning at 8 a.m., shuttles will be heading up the canyon every 10 minutes, with the last bus returning from the Temple of Sinawava Stop (shuttle stop 9) at 5:44 p.m.

Shuttle services in Springdale will run from 8:10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with busses leaving every 15 minutes.

Those visiting the park during this winter season are encouraged to dress accordingly for the winter weather and are advised to prepare for winter conditions around the park. Be cautious of ice conditions and please be aware that winter weather could delay the operation schedule of the shuttles.
