Free National Parks Days for 2017

Monday, February 20th is an important day, and not just because of President’s Day. This day is also one of the National Park Services Fee Free Days. If you have been putting off going to Zion National Park, or any of the other 124 parks that charge admission across the country, this Monday is the perfect day to visit.

In honor of President’s Day, you will be able to get into the national parks without worrying about the admission fee. On this day, and a few others throughout the year, you can save money while making incredible memories. Since this Fee Free Day falls on a long weekend, you can head out to the park on a Friday and extend your trip without paying for the extra day. It doesn’t get much better than that!

If you are not able to make it out this Monday the 20th, there are some other days throughout the year during which the usual fee will be waived. Plan your trip to Zion National Park, or one of the other fantastic parks in the US, so that you can take advantage of the other fee free days.

The remaining admission free days are:

  • April 15-16: National Park Week Weekend
  • April 22-23: National Park Week Weekend
  • September 30: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11-12 Veterans Day Weekend

These days allow for eight more opportunities to experience all the amazing things nature has in store, without having to pay to enjoy it.

They say the best things in life are free, and getting some fresh air at one of our nations amazing national parks is definitely one of the best things in life. Taking advantage of these days without admission fees is the best way to see the amazing and unique scenery of this beautiful country.
