Discover ‘So Utah’ during the 2019 Southern Utah Tourism Summit

Southern Utah Tourism Summit 2019

Returning for its second year, the Southern Utah Tourism Summit brings with it the goal of building bridges between the tourism industry in Utah with the Utah Office of Tourism, private entities and different representatives.

This year’s summit looks to support those in the travel and tourism industry of Southern Utah with amazing keynote speakers, break out sessions, and their notorious swag bags. This year’s event offers a space for educating the public what makes the area “So Utah”.

According to Cody Adent, one of the organizers of the summit, the mission of the summit has been to inform the local, private sector of state tourism efforts, as well as create a “dedicated place for conversation, camaraderie and driven comprehension on behalf of Southern Utah’s tourism industry.”

Registration for the summit costs $75 and can be found online. As a special incentive for the 2019 summit, attendees living in one of the four counties participating this year will be reimbursed 40% of the admission cost. Those attending the summit will also receive a free lift ticket to Brian Head Ski Resort, as well as 50% off rentals for the day, for the Saturday following the summit.
